THE CLINIC

Latest Clinic News:

Over-the-counter hearing aids:

September 13, 2022

You have likely been hearing about the "New FDA OTC hearing aids" class that should start rolling out on store shelves in October. There have been over-the-counter hearing devices available since the 1980's. Now, the FDA simply regulates those devices to make sure they are not capable of being loud enough to damage someone's hearing. Theses devices are designed for people with mild-to-moderate hearing loss and may be a helpful stepping stone for people who aren't quite ready for, or candidates for prescription hearing aids.

You can expect some OTC devices available in our office as well, which will come with our knowledge and services!
